Polly’s Dogwood Blossoms
The beauty of a tree blossom captures the essence of spring for the northern half of our planet. As far as the eye can see -the trees’ overwintered buds open in a splendor of color and light. Dogwood trees are simple yet elegant with their petals reaching up to the sun.
This piece of art was inspired by a tree we planted in my father’s memory. She is in our backyard and we named her Polly. Every year we are greeted with branches of flowers to enjoy.
